The Pill That Changed the World
Nothing is as it once was.
For the first time in human history, women are able to control their fertility. This represents nothing less than a dream shared by humankind coming true. As can be imagined, the demand was enormous, and the pill remains the most popular and commonly employed method of contraception.
Safe and effective contraception affects all other areas of a person’s life. Furthermore, the high standard of living in Europe and the USA would be inconceivable without it.
The pill spread swiftly, blotting out memories of uncertainty and fearful waiting for the onset of menstruation. Today, safe and effective contraception is almost taken for granted.
